ICAR-NIASM exhibited agricultural technologies in the Maha Agro 2016 State Level Exhibition at Aurangabad. The dragon fruit planting material/cuttings exhibited at the stall generated interest in knowing more about Dragon Fruit. Shri Vijay Anna Borade, Chairman, KVK Jalna took keen interest into the dragon fruit and fisheries so as to utilize the water resource available at Jalna. Demand for Dragon fruit planting material by the farmers was made and were informed to contact the Institute for placing orders. More than 500 farmers have made entries into the list of visitors to stall and have provided phone numbers for getting further information.
