Academic Activities
NIASM has a mandate to impart knowledge about abiotic stress management to the new generation of scientists, policy makers and subject matter specialists who opt for their postgraduate studies. In its initial phase, NIASM scientists will be extending their knowledge and experience in three different disciplines in collaboration with IARI, New Delhi. Courses taught will be in tune with prescribed syllabus followed by IARI, which will be imparting degree to all the students who clear all India post graduate examination and then get enrolled for postgraduate studies at NIASM. They will carry out their research activities under the supervision of faculty members of NIASM recognized by IARI. In addition, NIASM entertains visiting students from other universities that have signed MoU for facilitating postgraduate research fully or partially under the supervision of faculties recognize by respective universities as guides or co-guides. All these students will be provided with state of art facilities available at the institute for research. They will be accommodated in modern hostel rooms with all amenities as per the rules and guidelines.
