The campaign ‘Swachhata hi Sewa Hai’ as a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was observed at ICAR-NIASM, Baramati on 20^th September, 2017. In this campaign people including scientists, technical, administrative, contractual staffs, research fellows, young professionals and farm workers from the institute were eagerly participated. In forenoon an essay competition was organised on the topic ‘Swachh Bharat’ in which more than 20 people participated. While in afternoon cleaning of the premises of crop farms of the institute and removal and eradication of noxious Parthenium weed was done. The cleaning were started from main gate of the institute and spread to the crop farms.
