Inauguration of Short Term Course on “Abiotic Stresses in Agriculture: An Introduction and Hands-on Training for Skill Development" organized during 01 June to 10 July 2022
ICAR-National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management, Baramati inaugurated the scheduled short term course on “Abiotic Stresses in Agriculture: An Introduction and Hands-on Training for Skill Development, (1 June to 10 July 2022)” for students, young professionals and researchers across the different agriculture disciplines including agricultural engineering. Dr H. Pathak, Director, ICAR-NIASM, Chief Guest of the programme has delivered talk on “Climate Change and managing abiotic Stresses in Agriculture”. Dr Jagadish Rane talked on importance of skill development programme for managing abiotic stresses in agricultures. Dr. G.C. Wakchaure, Course Director has given overview of the training programme. Dr. Aliza Pradhan, Dr. P.S. Khapte and Dr. Gurumurthy, Course Co-Directors provided their valuable assistance for organising the programme. The presence of Dr NP Kurade, HoS (SASM) and Dr S.A. Kochewad, HoS (SSSM) was appreciated by the organising team. Total 41 trainees were participated. Mr. Prashant Bhosale and Miss Jaya Choudhari provided technical support for organising the events.
